Pasted images break after awhile.

I had an article that was showing broken links, but I could still see the images in it.  

I have also seen the images completely break, even to me as an Admin.

My thoughts are if copying / pasting images into a Zendesk article is prone to breaking the image over time, either fix it or disable that option as now I have a knowledge based with the possibility of hundreds of images that may break, it has already happened to a few of my articles which can be very challenging if I don't know what the original screenshot uploaded was as many people submit articles on our team.

I have exactly the same issue and I am just waiting for a response from support.

I was just told to upload the pictures vs copying and pasting, to which my original point stands.  Why let it happen if it will eventually break?  It is challenging, knowing I have some ticking time bombs out there in my knowledge base.

We are in the same boat. As of mid day Friday Aug 5, 2023. All images we had uploaded over years are now broken links. The image URLs refer to cloudfront.net. Net images added the show the same url as the help site. What changed and why? Will zendesk fix their problem?
