Number of Linked Incidents Visibility

Hey there,
We are wanting to have better visibility of the number of linked incidents a problem has. I understand you can see the number of linked incidents on the problem ticket, and via a report created in explore (that offers very limited flexibility on filtering).
We manage problems via a third party app, and a problem can lose importance and be overlooked/prioritised as it's unable to communicate the number of incidents/customers this problem has impacted.
Ideally we would like to be able to update a custom ticket field with the number of linked incidents as illustrated in the first screenshot, OR be able to export the explore report via the API to our third party.
Please can anyone advise on how we can best manage this?
We are not to concerned with the steps needed to achieve this, but its detrimental to the way we work that we have clearer visibility of this data in the right applications.
