All channels list accessible via API

Hello,
For now, I know that I can get the list of channels (in "via" object) in this link https://developer.zendesk.com/documentation/ticketing/reference-guides/via-types/ , but I am not sure if it is up to date..
Also, I would prefer do access it by api, something like HTTP GET : .../api/v2/channels . Will it be possible ? I am a little bit amazed that such a thing isn't possible to be done (or I did not find the right doc page?). It would help to get the list programmaticaly and not by copying / pasting from your documentation. Especially when this list changes over time..

Hi Tomasz! We have received requests in the past to provide an API for this sort of metadata and it is on a roadmap, however it is not prioritized right now. I wouldn't feel comfortable saying that it was even definitely going to be released, let alone when, so I don't have a solid answer for you. 

With respect to the docs that you found, I can confirm that that is up-to-date at this point, although it is possible that more types will be added down the line. Which is obviously why you would want this in an API format, so I understand any frustration you have with that. The good news is that it's not something that gets updated very often, so I would recommend checking back every couple of months.

We don't have any further information at this stage on if/when an API with this capability will be released. I'd encourage you to keep an eye on the announcement section of the community to keep informed of future updates.
