Time Off Management - Display information about pending and approved team absences
Posted Mar 14, 2024
Please give a quick overview of your product feature request or feedback and note who in your org is affected by this issue [ex. agents, admins, customers, etc.]. (2-3 sentences)
Tymeshift has this great feature when a manager receives an email with a time off request that indicates how many agents from that team currently have time off requests in the same period.
This is incredibly useful information, however, this is not available in the Time Off Management screen, requiring managers to bounce back and forth between Time Off Management and Scheduling.
One might argue that you can approve the request directly from the email, which is true. However, you can not respond to the request with a comment or make internal notes when approving or denying from the email notification.
What problem do you see this solving? (1-2 sentences)
This would provide a large efficiency boost for managers and admins, and would generally be a nice "ease of use" feature.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool? What happened? How often does this problem occur and how does this impact your business? (3-4 sentences)
Managers receive time off requests almost daily.
Are you currently using a workaround to solve this problem? (If yes, please explain) (1-2 sentences)
Looking at the team's schedule, then returning to the Time Off Management screen to provide a response with a note.
What would be your ideal solution to this problem? How would it work or function? (1-2 sentences)
Two columns added to this grid - one for Pending Time Off Requests in this Period, one for Approved Time Off Requests in this Period
