Custom report template - Scheduled Time column

A colleague of mine created a custom report tempolate in Tymeshift. In this report, he added the column ‘Scheduled Time’. Now, I wanted to create a new custom report using that same column but it's not possible. The column is nowhere to find. This is problematic as I want to sync that data to our BI datalake. This looks like a bug.

Thanks for reaching out about the issue with the 'Scheduled Time' column in your custom report.

 

The 'Scheduled Time' metric is available in the default Agent Attendance report. When you duplicate this default report, you retain all the original metrics and grouping criteria, transforming it into a custom report that you can then modify.

 

However, if you start building a custom report from scratch, you won't find the 'Scheduled Time' metric in the list of available metrics. We designed the default reports to provide straightforward, ready-to-use tools right from the start, using grouping criteria that align well with the specific metrics of those reports. For instance, the 'Scheduled Time' metric wouldn’t be relevant or useful if grouped by criteria like Ticket Status or Ticket ID.

 

My advice is to start by duplicating the default Agent Attendance report where the 'Scheduled Time' metric is available. From there, you can customize the report to meet your needs and seamlessly integrate the data into your BI datalake.
