Bot builder support for regex & numerical fields

There needs to be support for regex and numerical fields in the botflow. Ours and several other Zendesk instances frequency use numerical and regex fields for support issues. This feature is essential to be able to effectively log and resolve issues through the messaging bot.
What problem do you see this solving? (1-2 sentences)
Without this, the tickets that require regex fields, such as URLs may get bad data, and our workaround is causing more clutter and confusion via the use of a duplicate text field in place of the regex field.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool? What happened? How often does this problem occur and how does this impact your business? (3-4 sentences)
Every day - our workflow utilizes these sorts of tickets everyday and the regex URL field is crucial. This is needed for faster resolution of ticket issues. The value of the messaging bot is greatly reduced by the fact that it is limited in this way.

Yes, a text field is used instead, but this causes a multitude of other obvious problems.

Simply add support for regex and numerical fields in the bot flows. This is a much desired feature by many Zendesk customers, and I'm surprised it hasn't already been added.

Hi Leo Ostigaard, thanks for your feedback. I have logged this request for future consideration. We have been tracking similar request to extend the custom field types supported with Zendesk AI agents. Once this is supported with Zendesk messaging more broadly, we will consider extending their use for AI agent data capture also. In the meantine, you might consider Ultimate, Zendesk's advanced AI agent solution for solving these use-cases.
