What is the Article multiplacement EAP?

Happy to announce Article multiplacement, the long-awaited capability which makes content replication easier by allowing you to publish an article in multiple sections within and across brands without the cumbersome manual copy&paste work. Article multiplacement is designed to make knowledge teams' work more efficient and simplify the management of articles placed across multiple sections and brands.
What’s changing with article multiplacement?
When creating and managing articles, you will be able to add placements for each article. Placements share the same title and body content, but have a unique article ID and placement configuration that tells your help center where the article should appear. As a result, when you update the content (body and title) of an article with multiple placements, the content within each of those placements is automatically updated. This makes it easy to create content once, then effortlessly share it between multiple sections and brands.

EAP limitations
Article multiplacement is available with the following limitations:
- Max 10 placements per article
- Multiplacement is not available via the Help Center API
Search & Reporting:
- Retrieval services (e.g help center search, messaging bots etc) will return all article placements in the results visible to end users depending on view permissions and other search-specific settings. - Reporting for Team publishing will show records for all placement creations
- Guide admin experience: you might notice a few features not working as you might expect them (e.g. scheduling in bulk, moving articles across sections, verification), our goal is to solve these issues quickly
- Multiplacement is not available via the Help Center API
Who can sign up for the EAP?
Article multiplacement is available for our Enterprise customers.
How do I get started with the EAP?
First, sign up! We’ll plan to activate the EAP on your account within a week of your submission. Once you get confirmation that you've been enrolled in the EAP, you'll have the ability to use article multiplacement without any additional action from your side.
