What kind of encryption is being used by Zendesk classic Android SDK?

I am using Classic Zendesk Android SDK  for messaging in my project and just wants to know about if zendesk is using any kind of encryption.
Also how is the application data is being sent to the Zendesk ? Is it via HTTPS?
