Question

Can I embed Office or Adobe documents in the articles of my help center to display without having to download the content?

Answer

Zendesk does not natively support the preview of files in the articles of the help center. As an alternative, you can edit the source code of your articles to embed content hosted in a third party using the iframe tag.

To embed a document in your article

  1. Select Display unsafe content option in the settings of your help center and save the change.
  2. Copy the code snippet that you obtained from a third party such as Google Docs or OneDrive.
  3. Edit your article, click the Source code icon and paste the code.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Click Save and Publish.Source code.png

Post Feedback - Sales CRM (Sell)

Unable to force standardization across data in Sell - We want to use Sell as source of truth for customer data but there is no field validation/consistency (e.g. phone numbers, postal codes, etc.) for both system and custom fields.  We would like to be able to define a specific format or digit length for fields


Example Fields: 10-digit phone number (###-###-####), Canadian Postal Codes (A#A#A#), 10-digit account number (custom field).
