Issue symptoms
I am unable to integrate Jira and Zendesk, specifically when authenticating at the account verification step. The Zendesk subdomain is pre-filled, un-editable, and isn't populated with the preferred target Zendesk instance.
Conditions
-
The Jira instance that you are trying to integrate is a copy of another Jira instance that has already been integrated to another (separate) Zendesk instance.
-
Un-installing and re-installing the add-on does not fix the problem.
Resolution steps
- In the home directory of the Jira instance that you're attempting to integrate, rename the file
zendesk_plugin.properties
- Rename to another file name, such as:
zendesk_plugin.properties.bak
- The purpose of the new name is for the re-install to create a new
zendesk_plugin.properties
file.
- Rename to another file name, such as:
- Uninstall then re-install the Jira add-on. For more information, see the article: Setting up Zendesk Support for Jira integration.
