the notion of deployment only exist for integration that are hosted by a third party service such as sunshine conversations. However, in 2022, whatsapp started to offer hosting service with their Cloud API meaning there was no need for remote services to have to host the deployment. We slowly transitioned every number we registered toward the cloud API and now the notion of deployment has disappeared from our APi simply because we're not hosting any deployment anymore, those are all in whatsapp cloud, we're just handling the integration allowing the communication between whatsapp services and ours.
It is, therefore, safe for you to remove that notio from your client side.
Kind regards.

Question
After moving to Zendesk Suite, I am unable to use the Sunshine Conversations website for my WhatsApp channel, for example.
Answer
When you subscribe to Zendesk Suite Professional or higher, you gain access to Sunshine Conversations within Zendesk. You no longer need to authenticate from the Sunshine Conversations website.
Instead, generate API tokens within Zendesk, in Admin Center > Apps and integrations > Conversations API.

Zendesk Suite now comes with its own Sunshine conversations implementation. You can now access most of the features offered by sunshine conversation from your Zendesk instance.
The main difference here is that your Zendesk instance does not include the sunshine conversations dashboard and all the request must be done through the API.
More about sunshine conversations : https://docs.smooch.io/guide/
Sunshine conversations API documentation : https://docs.smooch.io/rest/
You can download the API collections from here -> https://docs.smooch.io/guide/postman-collection/#postman-collection
(Using the Sunshine Conversations API requires technical knowledge and a Eng. Team)
In order to access the API, you can generate access token in your Agent Workspace admin center :
This might be a lot to digest at first so if you have any specific question , feel free to ask.
Kind regards

Clément Masschelin commented,
Sunshine conversations is slowly taking it's place within the core zendesk product. For example, since last month, every account of level Suite and above have an access to the sunshine API to control their messaging channels. As for now, zendesk and sunshine still do not share the same user's directory. This is a change that is already being planned but there's not going to be any significant change in the next year because of all the behind the scenes work that need to happen i'm afraid.
You will still need to use both API at the moment but merging both the user directory and therefore, APIs is definitely in the pipes.
Kind regards.
