CommentWorking with articles in the knowledge base

Hi,

This article states that “Article owners and agents with publishing permissions can verify articles”. But in our Guide instance, the owners are not able to verify their articles.

  • They are owners (not just author)
  • The article is already published
  • They can see the ticket under the “Needs verification” list
  • When they open the article, they can see the “Unverified article - This article is due to be reviewed…..”, but they can not see the three dots, where they can click “Verify article”.

They also cannot due it from the “Bulk” actions, where “Verification” is greyed out.

What can be the cause? :-)

Post Feedback - Apps and integrations (Platform)

I have had a support ticket with Zendesk (#12095702) about using the help center API's in a ZAF app, and was encouraged to make this feature request.

I was creating a "Nav bar" app, to create redirect rules for the new "Redirect rules" API. It is working great when creating redirect rules for the "main brand".

The problem is when I want to create "redirect rules" for another brand. To do that I have to use the endpoint for that specific brand. I can't use the domain for the main brand (the one for the Zendesk Support). But when I call the brand specific endpoint via the ZAF client with another brand, I am no longer authenticated, because the cookie/session only works for the current URL.

The problem is not specific to the redirect rules API, but applies to all the help center APIs.

As I see it there are 2 or 3 possible solutions:

  1. For the redirect rules API at least, you could allow setting the brand via the "brand_id" id property. In the documentation it is documented as not being read-only. But you can't set it via the property.
  2. Create a ZAF app "position" for the help center
  3. I'm not sure if it would be technically possible to allow the cookie/session to work for all brand URLs

Has this use case been considered at Zendesk? :-)

Post Feedback - Help Center (Guide)

Hi,

Would it be possible to add an "English (France)" language variant to Guide? I see there are many other english variants.

The use case is a customer of ours (we are a Zendesk partner) that wants to serve their french customers, in english. They have many other countries that they serve in english as well.

I would just like the built-in translations to be based on either en-us or en-gb.

Thanks :-)

I would really like to see this as well. This was easy to do in gooddata but so far does not seem to be possible in Explore.

@... This is not a date, its a duration, eg. a number of seconds/minutes/hours etc.
