"Set composer to public channel by default" “Settings to make agent comments private by default do not apply to channels that are considered live, including chat, messaging, and social media.”
this feature should apply even in Messaging since Messaging in most cases converted to email and there is always a risk to send intenral notes when Messaging is default to public.
pls consider this option. tnx

In zendesk messaging report, there is no clear indication if the chat is missed or not unlike the legacy chat, very clear and detailed info.

Aside from the metrics, is there an option to actually view the current chat being served in Messaging?
In live chat, this is possible just by clicking the active chat, in Messaging I dont see any option.

The option to end chat from end user side is much make sense, Live chat concept and functions are more useful than the Messaing which includes this End Chat option.

same here.. since updating to agent workspace, we now have no sound notifications for any incoming chat.. It is really important especially if agents are doing multi tasking…
