I agree with the sentiments, Tymeshift is too restricted when it comes to overtime plotting, for the overtime to count we need to extend the original schedule. Why not just allow additional shifts to be plotted outside the original scheduled hours? That way even if the overtime is after an hour or 2 from the plotted schedule we can still plot it and it will be reflected as a scheduled headcount.

Joanne Atilano commented,
Will it be possible for the system to allow the following features:
Manual Break Optimization - Instead of requiring users to click into the schedule and edit the time manually, why not enable a drag feature for convenience?
OverTime Plotting - Tymeshift restricts overtime plotting by not allowing additional shifts outside scheduled hours. As a workaround, we extend the original schedule and apply a task for documentation and agent visibility. Will it be possible to add a schedule slot without extending the start and end shifts?

Hi Kelli,
The opprotunity is specific to managing time off. It would also be neat if Tymeshift will have a functionality where it allows the user to file a vacation request for a range of dates with a partial type, instead of full, so they can still specify their start and end times.

This functionality will gives manager and planners the ability to track when the requests were made, including the specific time and date of the request. It also provides an easy-to-use filter for viewing time-off requests within a specific date range, which helps in managing and auditing requests efficiently.

The feature is a crucial functionality in the systems that track and record actions, changes, and updates that are made to the schedules. It ensures transparency, accountability, and compliance by providing a detailed log of who did what, when, and why.

It would be a neat feature is we can assign codes or reasons that are relevant only to a particular location. Allow or restrict certain time-off reasons based on regional policies and differentiate accrual rules and approval workflows by location. This will improve user experience since employees will only see the relevant time-off options based on their assigned location. It will simplify the selection process and reduces confusion.
With this feature it ensures adherence to regional labor laws and holiday practices and aligns time-off policies with company standards and legal requirements.

It would be a neat feature to the system or tool to have accrual and distribution of Paid Time Off (PTO) for employees. Here’s a brief breakdown of what it typically involves:
1. Accrual
Key Features:
Calculation of PTO based on company policy (e.g., hours per pay period or annual allocation).
Tracking of accrual rates and balances in real-time.
Adjustments for part-time or full-time employment.
2. Allocation
Key Features:
Clear display of PTO balances for employees.
Flexibility to allocate additional PTO for special circumstances (e.g., bonuses or carryover).
Management of PTO expiration or rollover policies.
3. Management Tools
Request submission and approval workflows.
Notifications for low PTO balances or approaching expirations.
Reporting for HR and managers to monitor usage trends and compliance.

Hi Rohan,
When the agent is collecting cc information on the call, manual pause and resume are open to Agent error and increase handling time, it also adds unnecessary action and interrupts the flow of conversation with their customer. It would be great to have a feature where the system recognizes any PCI info and automatically pauses and resumes the call afterward.
Thanks

Hi All,
Do we have an update on Zendesk Talk to auto pause and resume call recording for PCI?
Thanks
