To export knowledge base content from your Zendesk Help Center, you can use a specialized service like Help Desk Migration. This service allows you to transfer your knowledge base data, including articles, categories, sections, and any associated metadata, with ease. It’s a great solution if you need to move content to another platform or simply back it up outside of Zendesk.

Natalia Tomchyshyn commented,
Just a quick heads up – our Help Desk Migration system has undergone some awesome upgrades since the article was published. Now, our clients have the freedom to choose a default agent for deleted, inactive, or unassigned agents, ensuring all the data is migrated consistently.
Plus, we provide data filtering options for even more precision, and customers have all the perks of custom ticket mapping and creating custom fields right in the migration wizard.
Additionally, the Wizard migrates call recordings and side conversations. And if you're looking to save on data storage space, you can opt to skip ticket attachments without a hitch.

The data migration isn't so easy, but with the Help Desk MIgration service, it is enhanced. The service is a Zendesk partner (check the listing at Zendesk marketplace https://www.zendesk.com/marketplace/apps/support/120364/help-desk-migration/) and more you can read on the website https://help-desk-migration.com/zendesk/.
The service migrates groups, agents, organizations, customers, and tickets (with all related data), and for the help center: categories, sections, and articles.
The migration tool enhances imported tickets with tags and extracts inline images; you can exclude attachments if you want to leave them behind, and smoothly moves help center content and translations and call recordings.

Natalia Tomchyshyn commented,
The Zendesk team already mentioned Help Desk Migration as an option. The data transfer tool helps to migrate language versions of help centers. To check it, test the service for free to see if it meets your requirements accuratelly.

Natalia Tomchyshyn commented,
Consider using a Help Desk Migration service. It migrates help center data (categories, sections, articles, inline images, attachments, tags) automatedly, and it replicates the language versions as well. There's an option of a free test migration and test Demo with custom data (that means you handpick up to 20 articles and transfer them.) As for the price - it depends on the number of records, once you run a free test, you get your price in detail.
Find the app on the Zendesk Marketplace here: https://www.zendesk.com/marketplace/apps/support/120364/help-desk-migration/

Hey, mfg!
As an alternative to the Zendesk import tool, consider Help Desk Migration. It imports tickets and all related data into Zendesk automatedly. And KB information as well.
In your CSV file, you can include required and custom fields. As for the custom fields - they can be date, dropdown, number, decimal, and text area.
You can download a sample file and insert your data for importing your records to Zendesk or use the sample file to check how the migration service works. The free demos are available.
For more details on how to set up a file, visit: https://help-desk-migration.com/help/prepare-files-automatic-data-migration-csv/

@Jason Wong, in the concierge migration service, we can manually create triggers, automations and notifications.
If you need more details, leave your email or schedule a free call and our customer service reps will help you and explain all the options.
