Jeroen Mulder commented,
Hi,
This is something I am interested in as well.
Maybe this thread can also help?
It often does not work even when I check the window.navigator.language in the inspect Console window

Jeroen Mulder commented,
When I would like to set my local fixed to one language According to the API documentation I could use: zE('webWidget', 'setLocale', 'de');
WHERE would I add it to the code?
I found where to add it...
Just follow this example
<!-- Start of Zendesk Widget script -->
<script id="ze-snippet" src="https://static.zdassets.com/ekr/YOUR_SNIPPET_KEY">
script>
<!-- End of Zendesk Widget script -->

Jeroen Mulder commented,
once again I added a form. The pre chat form. Can't get it to work. Did I forget a , or a {}?
OK. I found it. Not 1 comma but a lot :-). It works now.

Jeroen Mulder commented,
Hi,
I used the above example in the document_head.hbs on the Help Center template.
I did manage to change the offlineform text but I can't manage to change the concierge text as well.
Do I make an error in the {} position?
I forgot a ',' as can be read below in the comment of Dave Dyson.
Fixed the error in the script so people can copy it.

Jeroen Mulder commented,
Hi,
It is fixed in the sense that it opens a PDF in the webbrowser. There is still a download button so the problem of uncontrolled copies is still there. Is it possible to embed the pdf such that it is no longer downloadable?

Jeroen Mulder commented,
I also want a transcription of current messages so I can translate them to Dutch.
It would be really handy if I can get those messages as transcription so I do not have to type them myself. Did anyone already transcribe the EN versions?

Jeroen Mulder commented,
Hi,
I have set my entire help center to signed-in users only.
Is there a way to have "some articles" viewable by unregistered users?
What does visible to Everyone mean in this context?

Jeroen Mulder commented,
Is there a way to first have a self registered user approved by an agent?
The idea is that we (as an organisation) can determine if we approve the registered email address just by reading the motivation and clicking accept or reject.
This would prevent users being able to go to the help center once they have registered themselves and see all kind of "registered user only" information.

Jeroen Mulder created a post,
Post Title:
HelpCenter artiles: View pdf in browser
Feature Request Summary:
When creating a helpdesk article with a pdf attached customers can only downloads the pdf. I would like to have it diplayed in the browser.
Description/Use Cases:
When an attachement is clicked in a help article it is downloaded to the customers pc.
Instead I would like the option of opening it in a browser.
This prevents all kind of uncontrolled copies being downloaded and makes it easier to always keep the latest version available for viewing.
Business impact of limitation or missing feature:
This will be a big win since less uncontrolled copies circulate in the field
Other necessary information or resources:
Would also be handy for other attachements like pptx. But if for security reasons only pdf can be viewed inline then converting to pdf is always possible for many file formats
