You're welcome Kate. I agree about the duplicate manager, it's very specific or not specific enough sometimes. 
The widget does create visibility, but not ideal. 

So your post is still relevant for Zendesk to have a look at how to further improve this super common issue!

It would be nice if you could change the font and color of the text of your emails so that it matches the identity of the company. Now you can only change the look of the signature by adding it as an HTML, but it looks a bit weird with the different font for the rest of the text.

Hi both, 

Just found your question since I was trying to find the answer to some other question. But I think I can help. 

There are some options:
1) Using the duplicate lead manager widget that you can download from the marketplace. It tells you if the lead or company already exists (as lead or contact) and you can merge them more easily > https://www.zendesk.com/marketplace/apps/sell/243427/duplicate-lead-manager/?queryID=a1407ee18b1400f8ccd5c96062eb998d

2) Set up the duplication rules in the settings so that when you convert the lead they'll merge

3) Make sure that whatever integration you are using before they enter already checks if the lead exists and update them rather than creating another one.

Feature request:

Possibility to create email templates using custom deal fields as placeholders. It is already possible to add contact custom fields into your templates so why not deal fields?

I would like to add the feature to search on the contact/company card for a specific email or even note. 

When a user needs to search for an email not send by that user, there is currently no other way than to scroll down and click and open every email individually and read through them. It is possible to search for notes using the general search bar, but it would be preferred to be able to do this more specifically as well.

Feature Request Summary: 

It should be possible to star e-mails in Zendesk. 

Description/Use Cases: 

When a customer sends an email that the Sell user wants to easy retrieve in a later stage he/she currently does not have an easy way to do that in Sell. You'll have to either label the email in your e-mail or copy paste the information as a note and star that note. 

Business impact of limitation or missing feature:

The impact is that users still highly depend on their e-mail service whilst you would want them to do everything in Sell. Also, it's extra manual work for the sales users. By not having this option available it will risk the adoption of the tool.

When a customer send an email with an attachment, you can see the attachment icon in the Communication Center. 

However, when you go to the contactcard, the icon is not visible. You can only see that there is an attachment by opening the email and scrolling down. 

Solution: 
Having the attachment icon pop-up in both places.

Thank you for the reply! This does work for the agenda, but not for the task scheduling. 
I think the trick you mention does not work for this one.
