Lorrie McConnell created a post,
when creating a rule using hierarchy or other filter, to exempt 1 or more articles.
My case: We use the Mink theme. Within each of our categories, there is a What's New section. At release, a What's New article is created. 30 Days post release the What's new content is moved to an archive log (in the same section). The archive is all accordions with a drop for each release. And is our historical log. Once in the archive, the article dedicated to the release is archived.
The Net:
- Our what's New articles do not age enough to hit a verification rule
- But the What's New archive is a historical view and does not need verification.
I'd like a way to exempt a few articles from a verification rule rather than manually change the verify status.
Also, When including all articles in a rule, the list of articles includes archived articles. Could you either exclude archived articles from the list or provide a way for us to exclude/ignore those? I can't think of a process where I would need to verify archived articles.

Lorrie McConnell commented,
I would benefit from these requests and would like to add two more.
- Adding Hierarchy as a filter for all articles. Use case, is for article verification. I want to bulk assign owners to the articles. The SMEs have focus areas that mimic the category/sections. Without being able to filter by Hierarchy, I have to manually find and update the articles.
- Show/Hide columns: For those of us using verification, having the verified date along with last edited and last published would be a great help to managing that process.

Lorrie McConnell created a post,
At the bottom/end of each article I have a document versioning table where writers can add notes for what changed over time. My style sheet hides the table (display:none), but the text is included in search. I am looking for a way to exclude hidden text from search.
My style sheet:
/* Document Versions Table allows writers to document article changes that are not visible in published articles*/
div.DocumentVersion {
width: 100%;
text-align: left;
display: none; }
/* END Document Versions Table */
Table in articles:
Document Version | Date | Description of Change |

new post for today's post after closed comments on this issue.
We do not use comments so that workaround does not help.

Lorrie McConnell created a post,
I have an article that has not been updated in 5 months and the Google sheet that I added to display in an iframe no longer works. Has there been any change.
When I try to add it back in and save, at reopening of code I see:
which is not what I entered, its simply the beginning and ending tags
