Post Q&A - Help center and community

Hi community,

We had some product changes where one of our workflows was split into two separate workflows. I've created a new article for the new second workflow, but there are a lot of articles that still point to just the one article. Is there a way to find all articles that have a link to this specific article?

This happens when I paste any text, really. When I first started managing our Guide, I was using Word to type my drafts, collaborate with the team, etc. I would then paste the whole article and all the formatting would paste as well. I could get around by doing a paste as plain text (ctrl+shift+v on PC) but then I lost any formatting like bulleted or numbered lists. I've just stopped using Word and edit and save the drafts directly in Guide. Adding my upvote that allowing paste without adding extra formatting would be great.

Post Q&A - Help center and community

Hey community,

Curious if others have run into this issue. Prior to the recent updates that moved the editor toolbar to the top of the page, I was able to print from the revisions page in Guide. I need this to send a copy of the article updates to an internal compliance/legal review before I can publish the changes. Before, I could double click a word in the body of the article (so that it knows I want to print from that element in the page, and not the whole webpage), and then print to PDF with ease.

Since the update, I am no longer able to do this. If I highlight all of the text and print, I will get an unformatted version which removes all of the red line changes.

I know there are other posts about adding a button or functionality to have a print or download button, but this is specific to the revisions page in Guide. I have a very lengthy workaround for now, but I would love to have the old functionality back.

I'm curious if others have run into this roadblock as well, or if I'm more unique in my use case.

Adding my vote to this idea. My articles need to go through an internal compliance/legal review before we can publish updates. Having a way to select which versions to show changes would be a huge help and save me time from having to manually print different versions to PDF and then using the compare tool in MS Word to get a redlined version.

The muscle memory will take time for me to get used to now that the editor toolbar is way at the top of the screen and not over the actual text editor section.

I'd like to add to this. I have to submit all articles for an internal compliance review and would love an easier way to print or save an article as a PDF, especially from the revisions page with the red line changes.
