    I found the answer to my own question here in the comment section. It looks like you just have to use traditional html mark up (<b>, <u>, <i>, etc) which is actually much easier than markdown IMHO ...

    Is it possible to let a staff member assigned an "Agent" license to only work on the guide/help center articles and not see any support tickets at all?   We have specific staff that we want to edit...
