Zendesk will perform critical maintenance on the WhatsApp Business API Clients hosted on our US platform from April 26-27, 2021. We have chosen to increase the maintenance window duration to spread the upgrades and reduce the load they generate on our infrastructure. Note that each WhatsApp Business API Client will be upgraded separately during the time listed below:
US Hosting Platform Window:
From: April 26th, 2021 at 23:00 UTC
To: April 27th, 2021 at 11:00 UTCÂ
Customers Affected: All customers using a WhatsApp number
Affected products: WhatsApp messages within Sunshine Conversations and Support
Expected behavior: During this maintenance window, customers may experience a brief period of WhatsApp message delay lasting less than 5 minutes. Please note the rest of the Sunshine Conversations platform will remain unaffected and no service interruption will occur on any other parts of the platform.
When the upgrade of each API client is complete, WhatsApp message delivery will be fully restored, no messages will be lost, and no action will be required on your part.
Why we're doing this: We will be migrating our WhatsApp Business API Clients to new Kubernetes clusters in order to improve our platform scalability, resilience and security.
