How to send text message to multiple recipients?
RespondidaI'm looking for a way for a trigger to alert a group of individuals via text. For example, I will create a macro that says "Alert dev team" to use to immediately notify all developers that their attention is needed to an issue.
I was thinking that I would be able to create an extension/target to notify multiple phone numbers, but I am only seeing the capability to notify a single email address or phone number per target. Is there a way to make it notify multiple individuals?

It might be possible to set something up using the API, but that's way outside my wheelhouse so I can't really say for sure. It may be worth looking into though.
Otherwise, if you're using Zendesk Talk, we have a Text feature that goes along with it. We actually have an article that details how to set up a macro so that a proactive text message gets sent out to groups of agents.
This looks like it's exactly what you're looking for, as far as I can tell. It's available on the Zendesk Talk Team, Professional, and Enterprise plans. If you're not sure what plan you've got, just holler at our Support team or your Account Executive and they'll be able to talk you through it!
