Reporting on Snap Shots
Hello Zendesk community!
I apologize if my query has been addressed elsewhere. Let me know if I need to improve my search skills!
Ultimately what I'd like to do is report on the # of Tickets that existed at any given time. Not necessarily when they were created or updated. I'll give you the why and we can see if that helps out.
I want to help my executive team understand how many problem tickets exist and if we're getting that number down or if it's increasing over time.
If the data were as follows:
January= 10
February= 2
March= 13
I would be able to present a report that says "In January we had 10 problem tickets. We solved 8 of them, leaving us at a total of 2 in February. March was a tough release month, so we had 11 new problem tickets."
To take it step further, I'd like to present this data in a line graph to clearly depict the rise and fall or steady increase, etc.
I've got access to GoodData so I can really have a field day. Any and all suggestion welcome.
Thanks so much in advance!

Hi everyone who might stumble across this!
I think I found exactly what I was looking for. I've decided to utilize some of the built in backlog reporting and tweak it to filter on problem tickets. Provided me snapshots in history. Pretty perfect.
Thanks to Zendesk and community, anyhow!
