Hello! It's possible I'm not searching the KB for the right terms, so forgive me if this has been asked and answered.
What I'm trying to do is create ticket field that will be updated based on a user field setting. But I don't want my regular agents to be able to change the setting. So, in essence, it's just a display that tells the agent something about the customer via the ticket fields.
Here's our specific use case:
We have some end-users that are VIPs. I want to create something in either my agents' views and/or the ticket that tells them whether or not this person is a VIP. This is for informational purposes only at this point, so I don't want to use the Priority field.
Regardless, I don't want agents to be able to change the ticket field setting only for this particular field.
Is there a way to create something like this? Let me know if I need to provide further details.
