    Hi there Shelli,

    I just checked in Safari 9.1.3 on my Macbook and it works correctly. 

    In the text box, right click and go to 'Spelling and Grammar' and make sure the 'Check Spelling while Typing' and 'Correct Spelling Automatically' are checked.

    Any equivalent option for Chrome?

    My specific use case requirement is related to a user with an accented first name.

    For Zendesk to be used internationally it would be a great feature to allow autocomplete to be populated with custom entries for this type of use.

    EG if typed entry = "Corne" then autocorrect to "Corné" 

     

    Then those cultural sensitivities with the correct format of a persons name can be preserved when responding to a ticket. 

    Copy and paste is the workaround but for a product that puts client customers first, this would be a huge plus for Zendesk.

    Dictionary and auto-correct is usually handled by the operating system and not the browser. You can google search on how to add custom words to the dictionary so it auto-corrects the accent for you.

    If they have provided their name correctly in the pre-chat form, you can use placeholders in shortcuts and triggers so it automatically populates it for you.
