    You will need to use the color API: https://developer.zendesk.com/embeddables/docs/widget/settings#color

    sorry, but this doesn't work as expected.

     

    If I use the code with the following colors, it will change the background color and set the text color automatically to white.

    webWidget: {
     color: {
       button: '#8A0648',
       header: '#203D9D'
       }
    }
     
    I modify the code withe the correct hex colors:
     
    webWidget: {
     color: {
       button: '#7ebd0b',
       header: '#7ebd0b'
       }
    }
     
    This will set the correct background color, but the text color will be black again :/

    Hi Ghost108,

    The text is changed automatically to enforce certain accessibility standards based on the contrast of the background.

    You can override the text colour in the Web Widget settings:

    Uncheck the box and you will be able to select a different colour beyond what our readability algorithm thinks is best.

    sorry, but this checkbox isn't available. your screenshot shows not the same, like my web interface:

    Your screenshot is from the Chat dashboard, the setting is in the Support product under the Widget settings section. Please email support@zendesk.com to get further assistance on this.

    The setting is only available in the Support product right now. If you sign up for a Support trial and change the setting but not pay for it, the setting will stick to the chat only experience.
