Explore EAP - need metric for # articles created by author
I need to do a monthly and quarterly report on the # of draft and # published articles are created by each of our support staff. Looking at the Explore EAP, I do not see a way to do that. I do not need a list of each article they created. I just need the count.
Is there a way to do this?

Hi Mary
You can do this using the Guide Knowledge Capture connexion.
First, you have an [Article Created Date], and an attribute for [Article Status] which shows if an article is published or draft.
For the count, you need to make a calculated metric - this is very simple, just use [Article URL] in the formula, and make sure that you use the COUNT aggregator when you add it to the query.
You can then add the [Article Author] attribute to see the number of creations by each agent.
Hope that helps but let us know if you need any help!

This is what I have right now. But, I also want to see the #'s on the graph. Do you have a screenshot of the one you described?

Hi Mary
You can show the numbers using one of the options in the chart configuration menu - if you are stacking the chart, the easiest way is by showing the total (see screenshot) but you can also use the 'displayed values' section to show the values.
Kind regards

Thank you. I am not seeing the same things you are showing here. D_Count(Articles) - where do I find that? Also, I can now see the number but not seeing how you show the statuses by different colors.

Hi Mary
D_Count(Articles) is the calculated metric that I explained in my first reply - looks like your COUNT(Articles Created)? I just called it something different!
When you have your 'status' attribute on rows, you can click on the row selector header to select both of them, and then you can stack the chart as before, and also change the colours as necessary in the chart configuration menu 'Colours' section. The colour legend is hidden in my last screenshot, but you can also move that to the top of the frame using the chart configuration menu 'Legend' section.
Let us know if you still need help!
