Live Chat Spell Check - confirm prior to send
RespondidaHello,
I'd love to see an enhancement whereby when there are misspelled words in the chat window from an agent, there's an alert/pop-up that asks if they really want to send it.
Understand that chat currently relies on the spell check from the browser to highlight misspelled words, and that's fine - but as you know, agents can be in a hurry and those can often be missed. By alerting them to misspelled words when they try to submit them it provides them a better opportunity to correct.
Obviously such a feature would also require the ability to whitelist words (i.e., have a dictionary that we could add words to that shouldn't be flagged as "misspelled")

Hi Kevin,
Thank you for the feedback. I would suggest exploring plugins like Grammarly for Chrome to support spell checks. It will highlight misspelled words while the agent is typing the response.

Hello !! Can you help me i fond a job un your société can you help me please

Hi Pakruti -
Thank you, but that’s not the point. I know there are plugins and browser based elements that will highlight misspelled words. My suggestion is for a Zendesk option that actually alerts agents to misspelled words when they try to SEND the chat - thereby providing a safeguard if there is a spelling issue from going to the customer.

Hi,
is there any other way? Grammarly supports only english, and we need some other tool that support italian and other european language
Thanks

Hey Donato,
I wasn't able to find an alternative solution for you in our App Marketplace that addresses this need, unfortunately. You may want to look in the Chrome store to see if there's an extension that fits your needs there.

Bump! I agree that we need a native spell-check of any sort for Zendesk. Why would a CRM platform not have a native spell-check?!

I agree that we need a native spell-check is needed for Zendesk. Browser plugins don't pop up a message when you send chats or submit tickets.

I would add my vote to this too. It would be useful to have this for both the agent and the end user.
