Our company has many customers. Within those customers, there are regions and staff members for those regions. When trying to find the profile for a particular user, I end up scrolling through pages of accounts to determine if the user has an account to our support portal. There is no way to try combinations of first name, lastname, with company, with email, etc.
Example, yesterday, I had to scroll through 20 pages of user profiles for a specific company. I could not find the user. If I had different fields to filter by, I might have determined earlier whether the user had an account or not.
Further a more intelligent search and type ahead would help tremendously.
Would ZD consider creating fields for the profile that can later be searched on? I have noticed that searching the KB as well as searching the agent UI is difficult since there are not alot of options to help in this area (filtering). It may help to create separate fields for data so that we can filter by various combinations of fields.
Having a Name field only means we have to type exactly the name we are looking for. But there can be variations. Using different filters can narrow results.
