Ad hoc phone closure
Hi,
We have our business hours calendar set up along with our scheduled holidays. However, from time-to-time we like to 'turn the phones off' for something like a company wide meeting. With our previous service it wasn't difficult to set this up as we could essentially set it up as a 'meeting', provide a date and time frame and mark that, during those hours, all calls should go directly to voice mail.
I can't seem to find a way to do that with Talk. Does anyone have any ideas?

If you are on the enterprise plan you have the possibility to create several schedules.
Then you can create a dedicate schedule for Talk and use this in the routing settings.
Whenever you want to close the phones you edit the schedule like shown below.
Remember to have a dedicated greeting for this purpose and us that in "voicemail outside schedule"

Hi Jay,
Without the multiple schedules manually disabling voicemail while the team is offline will be your best option. You could also record a specific greeting for these time periods and toggle that on when you were turning voicemail off.
