Setting up Conditional Fields on Zendesk
Hey Guys,
I am attempting to set up 2 fields that need to be separate fields for reporting but are related so that the agent will only see certain selections based on the first field.
Example: I have a Category field with 10 choices. I have a sub-Category field with 20 choices. When the agent goes to the Category field and selects Category #1 I only want a subset of the subcategories to be available for choosing. If Category #2 is chosen a different subset of subcategories would show and so on.
Could you guys advise me around this?
We at Udacity.com have an Enterprise version of your Zendesk and unable to find the Conditional fields app in my marketplace.

Hi Rahul,
The Conditional Fields app has been replaced with the conditional ticket fields feature that is built into Zendesk Support, which is why you can't find the app in the marketplace.
I'm looking into whether and how to accomplish what you're looking for, but we'll be sure to follow up on that.

Hi Rahul,
We have just the capability you need with our paid Cloudset Conditionality App.
It supports what we call dependant value fields, where you can sub-set a controlled field.
We offer a 30-day free trial - any questions reach out to us at support@cloudset.net.
Thanks, Graham

Hi Rahul,
If it fits with your needs, you may also consider creating a single category field and nest your subcategories within that.
