Talk VERY quiet
Good morning all,
I hope someone can help me out here because I'm pulling my hair out...
We use Zendesk as our full support tool utilising tickets, live chats and phone calls. The issue I'm currently facing - the agents taking the phone calls are EXTREMELY QUIET on the call. The call ring tone is very, very loud and I know that Zendesk links directly to your computer sound control so this is always fully maxed to 100% to ensure we are as loud as possible.
We repeatedly receive comments from customers that "we are very hard to hear" or "extremely quiet", listening back to the calls I can completely understand their frustrations... it's like we're whispering!
I thought this may be an issue with the agent's headsets or computer settings, but if I jump straight over to a Skype or Zoom call, they can be heard LOUD AND CLEAR... what seems to be the issue here?
I need to get this resolved quickly, as customers are getting increasingly annoyed and frustrated at our inability to provide assistance via the phone lines. Anyone? Thank you!

Hi Jennifer,
I read through James' ticket and the conclusion that he and our support rep came to is that was likely a network issue or the network needed to be optimized for Talk.
