Created Versus Closed Tickets

So your Time filter widget has different date/times that the range you enter applies to.  You can access the list and see what is checked by using the widget drop down menu:

Then, in each query, you can select which of those dates apply to your query.

It looks like you might have made a copy of the standard Zendesk dashboard - I don't have a copy of that made for myself, but I would guess that if you check out those filters, "Ticket created" is being excluded (that is what I do for my filter).  If you want to just see solved tickets created in the date range you chose, you just need to uncheck "ticket created" so it's not excluded.

@... - another question, how are we going to set a default date on the filter? it seems that everytime we're opening the dashboard the date and group keeps on reverting back to default set up.

    Thanks!

You can't set a default date/parameter for the dashboard right now.  You can save a date range with a bookmark, if you want to explore some of that functionality (see the end of this recipe: https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037527374-Explore-recipe-Taking-dashboard-filters-and-bookmarks-to-the-next-level).

There are a few feedback posts related to this if you want to add anything or upvote: https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/search?filter_by=community&query=explore+dashboard+default+filter&topic=360001200913&utf8=%E2%9C%93
