Message in draft gets deleted if customer exits the chat
When I am on chat with a customer and I am in the middle of typing up a response if the customer happens to exit or drop out of the chat, the current message I am drafting gets deleted and removed from the chat window. This is particularly painful when that message was important and/or lengthy and still needs to be relayed to the customer either via a follow up email or when they come back on chat. Having to recompose a message is quite time consuming and frustrating.

This is valid feedback. We've heard this from several agents too.
They've also found a way around it, by clicking Continue Chat.
Although it's not a permanent solution. It will give you access to your message.
