Export Data from Dashboard in Explore
Hi,
Not sure if the answers to the following queries are already available as i couldn't find them. Please advise. Thanks.
I created a new dashboard with query in Zendesk Explore, and scheduled it to run daily.
In the query, I have indicated the display format for ticket age to be no decimal places. However, in the exported excel report, the result has many decimal places for the ticket age field.
May I check,
- How can I remove the decimal places in the report for a particular field?
- How can I set the column width or formatting of fields in the report?
- Can I sort column A in ascending order and then by column B in descending order in the report?
- The exported excel file is in a .zip file when I received it via email. Can it be sent as a excel file instead of a .zip file to ease operational needs?

Elene,
I will address each of your questions here.
- This is done in the chart configuration > display format
- Column width is set automatically based on what is in the field, formatting can be adjusted under chart configuration > display format
- Only one sort is allowed currently
- Zip is how these are sent unfortunately
I hope this helps!
Best,

Chris H Since 11th December the files I am receiving from export are in excel format,( all individual queries clubbed in a single excel file).
Is it part of any update/changes released or something else?

Hello Tejas Patil
I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Yes! You are correct. There has been an update to how excel exports from Explore are formatted. This was in response to a lot of customer feedback. You can see more details in this post: Excel exported is not in the same format in Explore.
I hope that helps!
