Tags: Multi-tag/topic Tickets
Hello,
I have Zendesk Team and have a workaround for getting reporting via tags. Basically, I have my Ticket Form/Fields with a Topic, and when selecting a Topic and updating the ticket status, it adds the tag associated with the Topic. However, sometimes one ticket has multiple topics, and when I change the Topic for the ticket, it deletes the old Topic tag and replaces it with the new Topic tag.
Is there a way I can have it so that if the Topic changes during the life of a ticket, that it will keep the old tag and just add the new one to the tags field? Thank you!

Hey Zach! Based on what you’ve described, it sounds like you may want to create a new Topic ticket field that is set as a multi-select field. That way, instead of being forced to only select one option, you can select multiple options at any point within the tickets lifecycle.
