CCAPI with messaging
Is it possible to get information about the message (or chatbot transcript) and the visitor when using Chat Conversation API with Zendesk Messaging? Also is it possible to get an indication that the message was sent via Zendesk Messaging?
We are using Web Widget (classic). And we are not using Sunshine Conversation API.
Some additional info.
We have an integration that can exchange messages with web widget chat visitors.
It is using Chat Conversation API and works well with Zendesk Chat.
But when Zendesk Messaging is enabled Chat Conversation API’s "subscribe to message” and "subscribe to chatActivity” don’t work. We can subscribe, but the handlers are not invoked when a visitor initiates a conversation.
Can we make it work somehow?
We also tried using a Trigger to assign the new Messaging tickets to our integration agent. In that case our chatActivity handler is being invoked, but the only info we can get from there is channel id, so we still missing the message and visitor info.
Pavlo Zaporozkyi have you received any feedback about CCAPI usage along with messaging?
My current understanding is that you need to get SunCo to add bots to messaging.
