How do I calculate how many tickets are in pending status each day?

    You should be able to use the backlog dataset to get this information. I would try something like the following with the status being filtered for pending tickets:

    In order to obtain this information, it is likely that you will be able to use the backlog dataset. If I were you, I would try something like what is shown below, with the status being filtered for pending tickets:

    Also, is there any way to filter by ticket form on the backlog history dataset?

    Looks like ticket form filter is going to be added to the backlog dataset soon as you can read here but is not available at the moment.
