HTTP Error 401 ;Unauthorized

While connecting to zendesk from qlik, I am now facing 401 Error ,though I used same username and password with basic authentication of schema to fetch the data earlier.

In addition to this I tried api_token for authentication in query header but still I am getting the same error. Kindly helpwiththis

Unfortunately it seems that this is most likely related to Qlik's integration or rest api connector. I'd suggest reaching out to them.

Yes I am using base 64 encoding auth

Hi Eric,

1.End points:   api/v2/users.json and api/v2/tickets.json, I am also looking forward to fetch data for some custom objects .Kindly provide help on this.

2.The API token was newly created when I tried to connect ..Any idea on how soon it gets expired?

3 .Yes ,I used basic Authentication ,I got to know zendesk does not supports it..but when ever I try new connection I can successfully establish the connection after refreshing it I encountered error after that.I also tried without basic authentication and based on api_token but its throwing same error.

Is there any chance that we could connect over the call?

Hey there,

A few questions:

1. What endpoint are you calling?
2. Have you confirmed that the API token you are using is still active?
3. Are you base64 encoding your basic auth?
