We’re excited to share that Zendesk added the option to sign up for SMS notifications on the Status page when service disruptions are impacting your Zendesk account. You can now choose to receive status notifications via email, SMS, or both.

The Zendesk Status page allows customers to monitor the status of their own Zendesk subdomain(s). This change was made to build on our current email-based notification system to allow users to add an additional channel for notifications, based on their particular contact preference. What action is required?
If you would like to sign up for SMS notifications, please visit the following article for a step by step guide to configure your notification subscription. You can also subscribe directly from the Zendesk status page. Agents and admins have the option to subscribe from their Support account (see screenshot below).
