Upvoting as well as we have quite some trouble routing emails correctly due to the lack of this option

@..., with all due respect, this was originally raised in January 2015. I don't think that "but they haven't been able to put it ahead of other items on the priority list." cuts it anymore. What is needed to get this on the priority list of your teams?

@Peter, thanks for that, but I believe it's not the functionality we're looking for in this thread. We require desktop notifications which also show when your Zendesk screen is out of focus, like such: https://developers.google.com/web/fundamentals/push-notifications/display-a-notification
