I am troubleshooting an integration between Salesforce & Zendesk. Does mapping fields (custom fields) between Salesforce & Zendesk rely on the custom field types be the same type? My Example: Salesforce custom field type = URL(255) and Zendesk custom field type = Multi-Line.

Can anyone confirm the reason I am unable to map these two fields is the field types are not compatible? 

I suspect, I need the Zendesk Custom field type to be “Regex”  with the expression for  URL validation:

• ^(http|https):\/\/[a-z0-9]+([-.]{1}[a-z0-9]+)*\.[a-z]{2,5}(([0-9]{1,5})?\/.*)?$

Can anyone confirm the reason I am unable to map these two fields is the field types are not compatible?
