Schedule articles to publish in Guide

Those are usually finalized a day before, and we get the article drafted up. It'd be fantastic to be able to schedule a time for the post to be published rather than have to go back and manually publish.

agree! for release notes and other similar things, it would be so much nicer to be able to schedule than to make sure someone is on at a certain time to press a button. Is this in your roadmap?

Yep, I totally agree. It would be great to have articles we've developed during a sprint to be set to publish automatically on release day.

In the guide, it would be desirable if you could schedule the posts with start date and end date. Also, a reminder would have to come to the author when his contribution has expired - so that he can delete this, mutate or renew.

Scheduling posts is crucial, looking at competitors atm that offer this.

I want to use this to alert customers of office closures on public holidays.
At the start of the year I'd like to schedule the entire years closures so that the office closure alert article appears and disappear magically.

YES, we would love this also. We use guide articles as background information for our monthly newsletter. The point is to draw traffic and attention to our Zendesk. It would be superb if we could plan the publish moment for these articles.

Just wanted to add my voice as a +1 for this feature. Our organization would find this feature really helpful. For example we have many "surprise" events and we would love to schedule the publishing of a guide article with the launch of these events.

There are a bunch of updates to Guide that are currently in process, and my understanding is that this is one of them. We don't have a set release date at this time, but it's looking like we'll start seeing these improvements roll out in early 2019.

Would be great to have an update on this feature...We need to schedule the release of a significant number of articles at a specific time, and doing so manually will be a nightmare.

This would be a huge help for us. When we make a visual update to our app, we would like to be able to schedule old articles to unpublish and the updated articles to publish. I know we can't get a release date, but can we expect this functionality this quarter or next?

Elizabeth is the user who first made the feature request; she's not a Zendesk employee. You can tell who employees are by the little blue person icon on our avatar pictures.
We do not share specific ETA's in our public forum, but I have heard from the PM that an Early Access Program for Guide Enterprise customers is being planned.

I am super stoked to hear that an EAP is being planned for this. Our organization would benefit from this greatly in many areas, whether it's Release Notes and being proactive/prepared, special events, feature deprecation notices, etc. Leveraging this with article templates would be a huge win, and somewhat low-hanging fruit that would have immediate, positive impact for Zendesk users, and a great ROI for Zendesk ;)
