    Hi Pankaj

The search in Zendesk Support agent interface doesn't support query strings, no. At least not yet.

You can search with query strings using the Zendesk API, but maybe that is not useful for your situation, if you are maybe just looking to bookmark a search in the agent interface.

Thanks Joel. If not querystring, can I POST the search-text in JSON package (or something like that) to some URL, so that it opens ZenDesk search page with results?

Basically, I want to execute the same action as the searchbox in ZenDesk UI and display results on the search page. But I want to be able to do it from my application. i.e. If I click on a link, it should redirect to ZenDesk search page with the link text and fetch results for that text. Can I use some json/action/page to POST the serach-text to the search page?

I can fetch results using search APIs and display it on my own UI but that will be probably the last option.

    Thanks for your help.

I think I understand what you mean, but I don't see how. The Zendesk search doesn't have any integration points you can hook into and the location itself doesn't accept query strings.

So I think you are left with building your own search page, unless you want to give Zendesk a chance and hope they implement it. Regardless, you might want to add your voice or +1 to https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/203438206/comments/211536968

Thanks for the info Joel. I have added my vote in there. Hopefully, we will have something like that from ZenDesk soon.
But meanwhile, I'll start building my own UI to integrate the search. Thanks again!
