@Paul - To hide the Sign In button you can simply remove the {{user_info}} placeholder from the Header HTML.  Please note - In order to do this you must be on a plan higher than the Starter plan.

@Paul - Yes you can just comment it out like <!-- {{user_info}}  -->   or when you get ready to add it back and type {{u  it will automatically populate a list for you to choose from.  If you have any further questions just let me know.

Wes, thanks for your response on this thread. I just have to ask: is there any workaround to remove the sign in button on HC articles without upgrading? I am perfectly fine with the Starter plan but can't show the "sign in" button to our users as it confuses them. I don't need any of the features from the more expensive plans at the moment. So just for removing the "sign in" doesn't warrant the upgrade to a plan which is 29x more expensive than what we have currently. Thank you! Thomas

@Thomas - Sorry but its not possible to remove the Sign-In button from the starter plan as you have to have the ability to edit the underlying code.  Sounds like you will be better off training and informing your end users exactly what the Sign-In button does and is used for. Best of luck.

@wes - thank you very much for your kind message. Completely understood.

"Training and informing" our end users won't be an option as this is a public facing knowledge base for consumers, not for call center agents. We may move help articles to a different platform to avoid confusion. Good to know that this issue can be fixed by upgrading. Thanks again for your very kind help! Thomas.
