Good day. We've set up time tracking with the time tracking app and set up reports per the recipes here. However, I've noticed that the report is sometimes wildly inaccurate. I think I've traced it back to the custom "Total time spent (hrs) [SUM]" metric. My report shows time spent on a weekly basis, but the metric appears to take the sum of all time spent on a ticket regardless of when the update occurred.
What this means is if I have a ticket that has a total time spent of 10 hours, but only one of those hours is the week being reported, the report still includes the full 10 hours. In this case, adding filters to the report does not (and cannot) correct the discrepancy.
Is there a way to modify that custom metric to filter updates to within a certain timeframe? I have no problem hard coding it into the query as long as we get accurate results. I haven't found anything obvious, but because the time tracking app does break down updates with a time stamp, it should be possible somehow.
