Best Time Billing Method coming from ConnectWise
Hello
We are functioning like an MSP coming out of ConnectWise to Zendesk. We need a solid solution to handle client billing that is ideally automatic.
We have been testing Harvest but it definitely doesn't seem nearly as foolproof as ConnectWise.
Can anyone make a recommendation of process ' workflow which is a reliable solution? I noticed TypeShift which seems really interested, however they only integrate for billing within QuickBooks online & Freshbooks. If we had to do it in those for the only reliable solution we would, but would prefer Xero or NetSuite as the invoicing target.

I'm sorry that nobody has had any input on this for you. Have you seen the time tracking integration options in our App Marketplace? If you haven't checked it out there, you might find something that would work.
Otherwise, if you have the resources available, you could build something custom using our API. If you'd like a custom solution but don't have the dev resources available for it, I can get you in touch with our Partner Services team, who can get you a quote.

Thanks. I've tried all of them with very limited success. There must be a reliable way to track time in Zendesk. Easily see within Zendesk each time log from the technicians that logged time on the ticket, and then easily creative invoices for those tickets.
The only solutions I've found are pieced together but are seemingly workarounds.
I really want us to switch over fully to Zendesk but this time billing precess is really holding us back. I have spent another night searching the Internet for solutions with no luck. It does seem that Freshdesk promotes this functionality so I may give it a shot to see how it works. I would much rather utilize Zendesk but I need a real solution that has basic features.
Fyi logging time against a ticket that gets pushed into a system where the technician or anyone else within Zendesk cannot see the individual time log or edit it is not a viable solution.
