Our SEO reporting tool flagged a lot of zendesk links that had a 302 (temporary) redirect. Took me a while to find them but they are the 'Related Article' links.
They start off with a URL like
then 302 redirect to the actual article page URL - in this case:
The problem with this is that Google does not transfer the link equity (ranking power) to the target page because a 302 tells it that this is only a temporary redirect.
It should use a 301 redirect to indicate that the redirect is permanent and so that Google will index the target page instead and ignore this vanity URL (which I assume is used for tracking purposes).
