Multilanguage for triggers
RéponduHi,
Maybe it's a good idea to make the triggers in chat also multilanguage supported.

Hi Thomas,
Currently, triggers does not support dynamic content and we have no plans to offer this functionality in 2018.
You will need to copy the trigger for each language you want to support and change the conditions of the trigger. The best way to copy a trigger is copy the text under the Developer tab and paste it in the new trigger and then modify the text/conditions for that particular trigger.

I would also really appreciated dynamic content support in chat triggers for better multilanguage support.

Hi,
We are using chat in Zendesk helpcenter and we would like to use 2 different languages for the triggers in chat. Swedish and English.
I've understood that it is possible to make two different triggers for the users country, but I would like to deside the trigger from the users lanuage (the language the user is typing). We have customers who live in Sweden but they to not speak Swedish. Then I would like them to get the message in English. How does that work?
Thank you!

Hi Frida,
Thanks for posting your question. Currently, the Chat platform has no way to detect the language of the visitor's message to fire a trigger against.
Most customers either use the country or set a tag using the Javascript API for the locale or language preference on the host page and have the trigger fire based on the tag set.
Have you tried using a tag yet and do you record your customer's language preference on your website?

Yes, I agree this is a much needed feature.

This is a much-needed feature to fully utilize the localization. The response from the Zendesk Product team is disappointing and most useless, to be honest. If we have to use custom code or API for EVERY SINGLE requirement, then why are we paying for the Zendesk platform? You should stop assuming that every client of yours has the bandwidth and resources for these 'custom' implementations, which should be a native function in the first place.
