    Hi there Flavien,

Thanks for the feedback regarding the mobile widget. The mobile widget is based on user agent and not screen size. On actual mobile devices, the widget should load the mobile version automatically.

If you are testing your website using dev tools, just make sure the user agent is set to a mobile device (like iPhone).

If you are still having trouble, send over the site the widget is embedded on so I can have a look.

    Hello Romin,

    Thanks for your reply.
I think mobile detection based on user agent is a very good solution but very limited.
My purpose is to provide a way in the Web API to let developper switch to mobile format manually.

    What do you think ?

What is the use case you want to cover by presenting the mobile widget on desktop when the window size is so small? Why isn't the user agent detection not working for you?

Reason why I am asking for more information is we have never heard of this request so want to see if there is something special with your use case.

You can look into using the chat popout if you want a separate tab for chat: https://api.zopim.com/files/meshim/widget/controllers/liveChatAPI/Window-js.html#$zopim.livechat.window.openPopout

    My use case :
Under 480px, LiveChat has mobile format. Upper 480px, LiveChat has desktop format.
    Mobile, Tablet or Desktop.

Thanks. We have no plans to offer the mobile widget beyond the user agent detection and we don't think many desktop users would have their window size that small.
